The exhibition hall, situated at No. 71, Group 3, Aijia Village, Aijia Town, Dianjun District, is open to the public from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. on Tuesdays and Thursdays. It remains closed on public holidays. In case of major events or necessary maintenance, temporary closures will be announced to the public.
The exhibition hall covers a total area of 1,700 square meters and consists of two floors. The first floor is divided into several sections: a digital sandbox display area for the reserve, a live exhibition area for Chinese sturgeon and a specimen display area for aquatic life in the Yangtze River. The display pools house various rare fish species, including Chinese sturgeon, Dabry’s sturgeon and Chinese suckerfish. The specimen display area features precious specimens and life-size simulation models of rare aquatic creatures from the Yangtze River, such as Chinese sturgeon, Yangtze finless porpoise, Chinese paddlefish and Yangtze River Dolphin. The second floor mainly focuses on the natural ecosystem demonstration of the Yanzhiba Wetland in the Yangtze River, exhibiting specimens of some plants and birds from the reserve.
