Yichang-Changde HSR feasibility report approved

  The National Development and Reform Commission released recently that the feasibility study report for the construction of the Yichang-Changde high-speed railway has been approved, marking a significant progress for the Yichang-Changde section of the Hohhot-Nanning High-speed railway project.

  The Yichang-Changde high-speed railway project spans a total length of 234.4 kilometers, with a total investment of approximately 32.47 billion yuan. It is designed to operate at a speed of 350km/h, and approximately 46 kilometers of new track will be constructed within Yichang.

  The Yichang-Changde high-speed rail line will stretch from the Yichangbei Station in the north, traversing Changyang County and Yidu County in Yichang City, Songzi County in Jingzhou City, as well as Lixian County and Linli County in Changde City of Hunan Province, before terminating at Changde Station in the south. Seven stations will be set along the route, including Yichangbei Station, Changyangdong Station, Yidu Station, Songzixi Station, Lixianxi Station, Linlidong Station and Changde Station.
