　　As of the end of January, Yichang’s total deposit balance reached 708.2 billion yuan, marking a net increase of 31.8 billion yuan according to the Yichang Branch of the People’s Bank of China on February 19. Meanwhile, the loan balance amounted to 695.8 billion yuan, with a net rise of 32.9 billion yuan. Both the increment and growth rate of both deposit and loan balances ranked first among prefectural and municipal cities in Hubei Province, indicating a stronger foundation for financial support to the real economy and an enhanced credit structure.
