The route spans from Renheping Town to the Duling Ecotourism Zone in Wantan Town, via Yuyangguan Town, the Chaibuxi Grand Canyon in Changleping Town, Wufeng Town, and Liziping Village in Caihua Township. Covering 180 kilometers (112 miles) with a driving duration of five hours, this journey immerses travelers in Tujia ethnic traditions through cultural landmarks like the Shengzipi Lantern Festival, Chaibuxi Long Dragon Banquet, “Guo Gan Nian” (Tujia Pre-Spring Festival celebrations) and “Tai Ge Zi” (steamed meat delicacy). Enhanced by infrastructure including the Wufeng International Ski Resort, the Chaibuxi National Forest Park, and boutique rural lodgings, complemented by regional specialties like Gallnut Honey, Yichang Congou Black Tea and Tujia Crisp Cakes, the route comprehensively presents the Tujia heritage of high-altitude Wufeng.
