　　The 2025 Yichang Half Marathon was officially granted the prestigious A1-grade certification by the Chinese Athletics Association (CAA), according to the organizing committee of the event on March 12. This accreditation represents the highest national recognition for the event’s operational standards and serves as a professional endorsement of the organizing team’s capabilities.

　　China’s marathon games are categorized into three levels under the Chinese Athletics Association framework: A (including A1 and A2), B and C, with A1 denoting the highest operational benchmark. The newly accredited Yichang Half Marathon now grants participants CAA-recognized rankings eligibility. “This status also allows exceptional performances to be considered for national, Asian, or world records,” stated the organizer in charge.
