Plans to develop six types of gig worker-friendly facilities addressing the urgent needs of gig workers were announced at a municipal symposium on the Communist Party’s community engagement initiatives in emerging sectors. The program will focus on the building of gig worker-friendly residential communities, commercial zones, office complexes, industrial parks, urban districts and transportation hubs (such as bus/train stations and ferry terminals).
