　　The Yichang Municipal Bureau of Culture and Tourism recently led a delegation of Yichang tourism industry to Bangkok, Thailand, launching the promotional campaign on the theme of “Meeting the Yangtze & Embracing Yichang.” The activity successfully gathered representatives from Thailand’s Outbound Tourism Association, major travel agencies and tourism enterprises, creating a platform to explore partnership opportunities in cross-border tourism development.

　　As 2025 marks the 50th anniversary of the establishment of the diplomatic relations between China and Thailand, celebrated for “50 Golden Years of China-Thailand Friendship”, the ties between Yichang and Thailand have been steadily strengthened. Since initiating direct charter flights between Yichang and Bangkok in 2023, the route has operated 359 flights, transporting nearly 22,000 Thai travelers to discover Yichang’s cultural and natural treasures.
