　　At 12:15 on April 14, Yichang received its first “silver-haired” tourist train of the year. More than 700 elderly tourists from Changchun, Jilin, arrived at Yichangdong Railway Station on the Y391 tourist train and began a three-day sightseeing trip along the Three Gorges of the Yangtze River. The train connects quite a few representative scenic spots, allowing tourists to disembark and visit along the way without the need to move their luggage. After visiting one spot, they can return to the train and continue their journey. This leisurely travel mode has recently become popular among the elderly. Since the beginning of this year, the Yichang Train Operation Depot has served 48 batches of “silver-haired” tourist groups from outside Yichang, with nearly 20,000 people members, breaking historical records in both passenger volume and operational frequency.
