On May 7, the construction of a key product exhibition center officially commenced at the Three Gorges Animal Husbandry Industrial Park in Yaqueling Town, Yiling District. The project, a centerpiece of the park’s Phase I development, marks a significant milestone in the park’s progress.

　　The park, a key initiative under Yichang’s "14th Five-Year Plan" for the livestock sector, is backed by a 5.6-billion-yuan investment and spans 1,132 acres. Upon completion and operation, it is expected to process 1 million hogs, 30 million poultry, and 400,000 head of cattle and sheep annually, with a cold storage and logistics capacity of 250,000 cubic meters.
