From June 5 to 8, the 40th Seoul International Travel Fair in Seoul, South Korea served as a dynamic platform to showcase Yichang’s distinctive culture and tourism through a thematic exhibition of “Great Three Gorges.”

　　The exhibition sparked strong interest among Korean visitors, who were particularly drawn to the cultural mystery boxes featuring Yichang’s historical figures like Wang Zhaojun and Qu Yuan. The melodic notes of the original song “Wonderful Three Gorges” filled the exhibition hall, drawing local visitors to stop by and take photos. Meanwhile, well-designed bilingual pamphlets of travel guides provided recommendations for itineraries such as the “Three Gorges Landscape Tour” and the “Ba-Chu Cultural Trip.” During the event, strategic partnerships were formed as leading Yichang travel operators, including Hubei Xiazhou International Travel Service and Shunda International Travel Service, signed agreements with major Korean agencies. These collaborations aim to tap into the high-end customized tour market, centered on “the Yangtze Three Gorges” and “Qu Yuan Culture,” marking a coordinated effort to establish Yichang as a premier destination for South Korea’s outbound tourism.
