On June 12, China’s next-generation Fuxing CR450 high-speed train debuted at Yichangbei Railway Station, commencing its inaugural test run on the Wuhan-Yichang section of the Shanghai-Chongqing-Chengdu High-Speed Railway, marking the initiation of comprehensive type testing to collect crucial operational data for enhanced train performance.

　　Currently, China’s high-speed rail network operates at a maximum commercial speed of 350 km/h. As a flagship project of China’s 14th Five-Year Plan, the CR450 train is poised to set new global rail standards, featuring a record-breaking operational speed of 400 km/h and test speed reaching 450 km/h.
