At 9:35 p.m. on June 15, Sanxia International Airport welcomed a group of 168 tourists from Hong Kong on flight HB850. In the coming days, the group will visit attractions such as Xiling Gorge, Qu Yuan’s Hometown and the Three Visitors’ Cave, enjoying the beautiful scenery of Yichang.

　　“There are three weekly chartered flights between Hong Kong and Yichang. So far in June, we’ve hosted three tour groups from Hong Kong and Macau, each with over a hundred members,” said Li Ying, Deputy General Manager of Baozhong International Travel Service (Hubei).

　　According to data, in the first half of 2025, Baozhong Travel has hosted more than 100 inbound tour groups. The number of foreign tourists served has increased by over 40% year-on-year, with Poland, Austria, Spain, Germany and France as the major source markets. (Reporter/Yang Jing)
