Yichang’s first multifunctional “super energy supply station” recently commenced official operation in Xiaoting District. Incorporating cutting-edge technologies, the station’s most notable feature is its robust energy supply capacity.

　　For battery-swappable vehicles, the station provides full battery replacement in just 3 minutes. For non-swappable new energy vehicles, eight fast-charging poles are available, capable of replenishing approximately 500 kilometers of driving range within 30 minutes. The facility also features two innovative bidirectional charging (V2G) poles, enabling vehicle-to-grid power transfer during peak demand periods. This technology not only reduces owners’ electricity costs but also alleviates grid pressure, effectively transforming vehicles into distributed energy storage units.

　　The station is equipped with a high-efficiency photovoltaic array roof, meeting about 20% of its daily electricity needs. Its complementary energy storage system stores power during off-peak hours and supplies energy during peak times, successfully implementing “peak shaving and valley filling.” This makes it Yichang’s first truly integrated comprehensive energy service station combining “solar power, energy storage, charging, discharging and swapping” capabilities.
