On the afternoon of July 1, special customs inspection points for departure tax refund and bank tax-refund counters were set up at the departure area of Terminal 1 for international flights at the Yichang Sanxia International Airport. Eye-catching signs and bilingual (Chinese and English) instructions were posted. Currently, the airport is the only departure port for departure tax refund in Yichang.

　　This departure tax-refund move is to alignwith the departure tax refund policy implemented from July 1 for overseas tourists travelling in Hubei Province. According to the regulations, when an overseas tourist spends a total of at least 200 RMB on tax-refundable items in the same tax-free shop on the same day, they can apply for a tax-refund voucher.
