At the 2025 Town High-Quality Development Forum held on July 26 in Suzhou, Jiangsu Province, the 2025 Top 100 Most Competitive Towns in Central China were unveiled. Thirteen towns in Yichang made the prestigious list, including DongshiTownin Zhijiang County, ZhichangTownin Yidu County, ZhangshupingTownand Longquan Town in Yiling District. This achievement underscores Yichang’s growing influence in Central China’s economic landscape.
