“China-South Asia Youth Declaration” unveiled in Yichang

  From July 26 to 28, 2025, the 2025 China-South Asia Youth Leaders Exchange Program was convened in Yichang, hosted by the Chinese People’s Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries, the South Asia-China Friendship Cooperation Organization and the Hubei Provincial People’s Association for Friendship.

  Delegations of young leaders from six South Asian countries,including Bangladesh, India, Maldives, Nepal, Pakistan and Sri Lanka, participated in this significant event. During their visit, a sharing session was held in Yidu County, where the “China-South Asia Youth Declaration” was officially released. The declaration underscores a collective commitment to sustaining the long-standing tradition of friendship between China and South Asia. Participants expressed their resolve to effectively advance global civilization initiatives, uphold international fairness and justice, foster the development of a shared future community and serve as dedicated stewards of people-to-people exchanges.
