According to the Yichang Sanxia International Airport Exit/Entry Border Inspection Station on August 7, the station handled over 78,000 inbound and outbound passenger trips and more than 640 flights in the first seven months of this year, representing year-on-year increases of approximately 21.9% and 51.7% respectively. In July, the number of passenger trips inspected reached 11,000, up 10% from the same month last year. The number of foreign trips to Yichang via the airport has reachedover 49,000 since the start of this year, accounting for 62.8% of the total.
