The 2025 Global Tour Operators Conference and Yichang Cultural Tourism Development Conference was held in Yichang on September 6. The event brought together more than 600 participants, including over 220 overseas travel agents and representatives from 41 countries and regions.

　　The Vice Governor of Hubei Province Chen Ping attended the conference. Ke Ke, head of the Hubei Provincial Department of Culture and Tourism, and the Secretary of the CPC Yichang Municipal Committee Xiong Zhengyu delivered speeches. Chen Honghui, deputy secretary of the CPC Yichang Municipal Committee and mayor of Yichang, unveiled the Plan for Building Yichang into a World-Renowned Cultural Tourism Destination.

　　Distinguished guests included Erik Drouet, president of the International Tourism Federation, Olga Migunova, vice chairwoman of the Russia-China Friendship Association’s St. Petersburg branch, Matthews, president of Matthews Pilgrimage Tour Inc. and Liu Xiaozhou, vice president of Trip.com Group and CEO of TripAdvisor China.
