One of Yichang’s innovative cases has been selected as a “best practice” in China’s Free Trade Zone (FTZ) reform. The Ministry of Commerce recently released the sixth batch of “best practice cases” from China’s pilot free trade zones, among which was a cross-sectoral vocational skills certification mechanism, an innovation from the Yichang Section of the Hubei FTZ, which was the only selected case from Hubei Province.
