On October 15, the 2025 China-Nordic Economic and Trade Cooperation Forum kicked off in Wuhan, Hubei Province. The event attracted representatives from over 30 countries and more than 200 Fortune Global 500 companies. During the forum, Yichang secured eight key projects with a total investment of 12.39 billion yuan, spanning sectors such as new energy, high-end equipment, modern chemical and advanced materials, as well as commerce and trade.
