On October 17, the inbound and outbound passenger trips at Yichang SanxiaInternational Airport surpassed 106,800, setting a new all-time record and marking a 16.8% increase compared to the 2019 peak, and was achieved 75 days earlier than that year.

　　Since the beginning of this year, the airport has continued to expand its international route network. In addition to maintaining flights to destinations such as Bangkok, Ho Chi Minh City, Hanoi and Hong Kong, it resumed service to Seoul in September. The growing number of international routes and the steady rise in passenger volume clearly reflect Yichang’s increasing openness and vitality in international exchanges.
