Chen Honghui, deputy secretary of the CPC Yichang Municipal Committee and mayor of Yichang, met withthe Russian delegation led by Georgievich, governor of Russia’s Lipetsk Oblast, on October 29. The two sides witnessed the signing of an agreement between Angel Yeast Co., Ltd. and Lipetsk Oblast on an investment project to increase yeast production capacity.

　　Chen Honghui saidthat Yichang and Lipetsk City in Lipetsk Oblast are sistercities with a solid foundation for cooperation. The signing of this agreement is a concrete manifestation of deepening industrial collaboration. He hoped that the two sides will continue to expand cooperation in fields such as biomedicine, green energyand artificial intelligence, and contribute to the development of China-Russia relations. Governor Georgievich praised Yichang’s development achievements and expressed his willingness to further deepen cooperation in multiple fields for mutual benefit and win-win results.
