Recently, a memorandum of cooperation was signed in Singapore among Qingkui Zhizao Technology Co Ltd, a Yichang-based high-tech firm located in DianjunDistrict, the Institute of Materials Research and Engineering (IMRE) under Singapore’s Agency for Science, Technology and Research (A*STAR) and Suntar Environmental Technology. This partnership will establish Southeast Asia’s first “Future Lab” for intelligent chemistry, marking the inaugural overseas deployment of smart R&D equipment independently developed in Yichang.

　　Aimed at accelerating the large-scale application of scientific breakthroughs, particularly by tackling industry-wide challenges like long development cycles and high costs, the project will focus on water treatment and advanced separation technologies. The partners will work together to create highly automated workflows for these fields. The initiative reflects China’s growing role in global cooperation on smart technology innovation.
