On the morning of December 24, the Broccolini Planting Base in Mayangzhou Village, Qixingtai Town, Zhijiang County, was bustling with its first centralized Broccolini harvest. The freshly picked vegetablewas rigorously sorted and packaged before being shipped via cold-chain logistics to directly upply markets in Guangdong,Hong Kong and Macao.
The successful introduction and large-scale cultivation of thenew high-end vegetable variety in Qixingtai Town not only enriches the local agricultural structurebut also opens up a direct channel to the high-end market in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Areathrough a stable order-based cooperation model. By 2026, 23 mu (more than 1 5 hectares) of Broccolini will be planted locally, with an estimated yield of about 22.5 metric tons per hectare.
