As of December 31, 2025, the annual inboundandoutboundpassenger trips at Yichang Sanxia International Airport exceeded 123,000, marking a year-on-year increase of 15.6%. The number of international flights reached 982, reflecting a year-on-year rise of 36.2%.

　　In 2025, the airport launched five international and regional routes, connecting four countries and regions. These routes have established convenient air links to Southeast Asia and the Greater Bay Area, serving as an key air linkfor population mobility, economic and trade cooperation as well as cultural and tourism interactions. Taking advantage of the visa-free entry policy, the airport has continued to attract tourists and business travelers from countries like Thailand and South Korea.
