The interior decoration of the Yichang Le Méridien Hotel has been completed, with the final phase of work set to finish before the Spring Festival. The hotel is scheduled to open officially by the end of March. Located in the Xiling Gorge Scenic Area, it will feature 220 guest rooms. As Yichang’s first international five-star hotel built on a “creative and lifestyle” brand concept, it will fill a gap in the high-end resort hotel market within the “Two Dams and One Gorge” tourist area, which stretches along the Yangtze River in the Xiling Gorge section between the Gezhouba Dam and the Three Gorges Dam.
