In 2025, Yichang’s agricultural export value reached 3.79 billion yuan, ranking first in Hubei Province. Key export products included yeast, citrus, konjac powder, and tea.

　　In recent years, Yichang has focused on nurturing leading agricultural export enterprises. Among them, Angel Yeast Group, QuGu International Agriculture Group and Hubei Yizhi Konjac Biotechnology Co Ltd have been recognized as national exemplary entities. Yichang Tea Group, Yichang Zhongda Technology Co Ltd and Yichang Haitong Food Co Ltd have been included in key enterprise cultivation program. Last year, QuGu Group achieved its first export of fresh citrus to markets such as Seychelles and Malaysia. The overseas brand “YIVANA” of Yichang Tea Group was registered in 47 countries and regions, including Russia and the United Kingdom. Its matcha products, along with bulk tea from affiliated branches, including Hubei Zhaojun Tea Co Ltd and Hubei Qingxigou Gongcha Co Ltd, entered international markets for the first time. Additionally, Yichang newly registered 21 citrus orchards and 16 packing facilities for export, bringing the respective totals to 55 orchards and 43 facilities.
