Across major shopping malls in Yichang, subsidies for Grade-1 energy-efficient appliances have become a key driver of market vitality. Local companies have rolled out their own promotions, forming a seamless consumption chain spanning home improvement, building materials and home appliances.

　　According to the Yichang Municipal Bureau of Commerce, more than 41,000 subsidy transactions for home appliance trade-ins have been handled so far, with total sales reaching 183 million yuan.
