The casting center of Yichang Xingzhou Heavy Casting and Forging Co Ltd located in Yiling District, has commenced production recently, marking the full operation of Central China’s first “5G+AI” intelligent, green and high-end casting center. The project represents a total investment of 600 million yuan, covers an area of 200,000 square meters, and has an annual production capacity of 50,000 metric tons, with an expected annual output value of 1 billion yuan.

　　The center incorporates “5G+AI” technology and an RGV automatic transfer system, automating key processes such as sand mold production, molten steel pouring and casting transportation, resulting in an efficiency increase of nearly 40%. Additionally, all production equipment has been upgraded to advanced machinery, reducing energy consumption by 60% compared to traditional processes.
