A shipment of imported skincare and health products with a value of nearly 20 million yuan recently arrived at the Yichang Comprehensive Bonded Zone via Ezhou Huahu International Airport, marking the official opening of a large-scale cross-border e-commerce air freight corridor connecting Yichang with the airport. The goods were processed under the bonded warehouse model, achieving a seamless one-day logistics flow from global sourcing to air transport and bonded customs clearance.

　　Based on the extensive international cargo network of Huahu Airport, the air freight costs have been reduced by 20%, while transit efficiency has significantly improved. Cross-border e-commerce imports at the Yichang Comprehensive Bonded Zone surged from 30.47 million yuan in 2023 to 217 million yuan in 2025, demonstrating how the zone’s open-channel advantages are rapidly translating into industrial growth momentum.
