On March 23, the automated production lines at Hubei Xinyang Special Fiber Co Ltd in Dangyang County were operating at full capacity, steadily producing batches of diacetate fiber products destined for markets including South Korea and Russia.

　　The company has already secured around 70 million yuan in orders for the first quarter. As a national-level “little giant” specializing in advanced manufacturing, it has seen exports account for over 99% of its total output for two consecutive years. To reduce reliance on imported key raw materials, the company invested in a 30,000-metric-ton diacetate cellulose project that came online in 2025, achieving full raw material self-sufficiency and reducing costs by approximately 16%. The company is now building an acetate tow industrial cluster, with an expected annual output value exceeding 1.1 billion yuan in 2026 and projected foreign exchange earnings of nearly 90 million US dollars.
