2026-03-28 08:40:00

On March 27, a group of 30 Singaporean tourists completed their three-day, four-nightcultural immersion tour in Yichang. Their itinerary included iconic sites such as the Three Gorges Waterfall, the “Two Dams and One Gorge,” the Three Gorges Tribe Scenic Area, and the Ship Lift of the Three Gorges Dam, offering an immersive experience of Yichang’s breathtaking natural wonders and rich cultural heritage.

At the Three Gorges Resettlement Museum, the Chinese Singaporean visitors were deeply moved by the story of millions of reservoir-induced resettlers, embodying a spirit of sacrifice for the greater good. “The sense of national spirit truly touched my heart,” one traveler remarked. They also expressed admiration for China’s rapid development.

Captivated by the region’s magnificent landscapes and its commitment to preserving traditional culture, another visitor shared, “It warms my heart as a person of Chinese descent to see Chinese culture being inherited with such dedication.”

With its unique blend of natural beauty and cultural heritage, Yichang continues to showcase its role as the gateway to the Three Gorges and share compelling stories of China with the world. (Sanxia Daily: Reporter/Yang Jing, Correspondent/Tan Ling)
