On March 29, Yichang Sanxia International Airport kicked off the summer-autumn aviation season with new domestic routes to Xining, Shenyang, Hohhot and Maotai, alongside the arrival of Chang’an Airlines as a base carrier. On the same day, flights from Yichang to Hanoi, Bangkok and Vientiane were launched, while routes to Kuching, Seoul and Cheongju are set to open in April. The expanded international route network is building an aerial bridge connecting Yichang with Southeast and East Asia, further boosting Yichang’s opening-up and regional development.
