On March 31, at Yichang Port, nine sets of intelligent quantitative loading and unloading skids were being hoisted and shipped to Southeast Asia, where they will be delivered to clients for employment at major oil depots there.

　　The equipment, manufactured by Hubei Hongyi Intelligent Equipment Co Ltd in Dangyang County, integrates precise metering, explosion protection and automated control. It enables remote control of the entire loading and unloading process and is known as the “intelligent brain” of oil depots. Through digital and automated control, the system effectively reduces leaks, spills and evaporation losses during storage and transportation, effectively “squeezing” more usable capacity from existingfacilities and helping clients enhance their reserve release capabilities.
