At 14:55 on March 31, Chang’an Airlines Flight 9H8473, carrying 66 passengers, took off from Yichang Sanxia International Airport, marking the official launch of the “Yichang-Vientiane” passenger air route. This route becomes the first direct air link from Yichang to Laos.

　　The route is operated by a Boeing 737-800 aircraft, with flights scheduled on a rolling basis of three flights every two weeks on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Sundays (subject to official booking information). The flight schedules are as follows: the outbound flight departs Yichang at 14:55 and arrives in Vientiane at 18:05; the return flight departs Vientiane at 19:05 and arrives in Yichang at 22:10, with a one-way flight time of approximately 3 hours.
