On the morning of April 2, a delegation of Russian children visited the Donghu Road Campus of Xiling District Foreign Language Primary School, where they engaged in a cultural exchange with students of the school. The Russian children gave performances including physical contortion, artistic recitation and an acrobatic show titled “Kung Fu Panda” that incorporated Chinese martial arts, while the Chinese students performed a solo dance in the Miao ethnic style, a choir singing and a musical ensemble featuring melodicas and Tang drums playing “The Heirs of the Dragon.” The exchange was organized by Tutu International Travel Agency, aiming to foster understanding and friendship between Chinese and Russian children through interaction. The agency stated that such cultural exchange activities would be held on a regular basis in the future, allowing more children to grow together through “warm cultural encounters.” (Sanxia Daily: Reporters/Yang Jing and Chen Xiangrui)
