The “2026 List of Provincial and Municipal Key Projects” was recently released, featuring 191 projects in Yichang with a total planned investment of 745.8 billion yuan. Among them, 108 projects are designated as provincial-level key projects, setting a new record and ranking first in Hubei Province for the first time. Both the total investment volume and the annual planned investment rank second in the province. Yichang continues to hold a significant position in the layout of Hubei’s major projects.

　　Among the 191 projects, there are 120 major industrial projects, 57 major infrastructure projects and 14 major livelihood and environmental protection projects. These include 19 projects with an investment of 10 billion yuan or more, with a cumulative investment of 356.35 billion yuan, accounting for 47.8% of the total investment, and 28 projects with an investment volume of 5 billion yuan or more, with a total investment of 168.47 billion yuan.
