At 13:20 on April 4, flight 7C8487 carrying 193 passengers landed smoothly at Yichang Sanxia International Airport, marking the successful resumption of the international passenger air route between Yichang and Incheon, Republic of Korea, after a five-month suspension.
The Yichang-Incheon route is operated by Jeju Air of the Republic of Korea using the B737-800 aircraft, with flights scheduled every Tuesday and Saturday. The one-way flight takes approximately three hours. The specific flight schedules are as follows: On Tuesdays, flight 7C8487 departs Incheon at 12:10 and arrives in Yichang at 15:30; flight 7C8488 departs Yichang at 16:30 and arrives in Incheon at 19:25. On Saturdays, flight 7C8487 departs Incheon at 10:15 and arrives in Yichang at 13:20; flight 7C8488 departs Yichang at 14:20 and arrives in Incheon at 17:25.
According to Yichang Sanxia International Airport, three additional international routes will subsequently be launched to Kuching (Malaysia), Cheongju (Republic of Korea) and Busan (Republic of Korea), further densifying Yichang’s international passenger flight network.
