Recently, Lunwan navel oranges have begun hitting the market in large quantities across Yichang, marking the official start of their annual sales season. As of now, the total planting area of Lunwan navel oranges in Yichang has reached 167,900 mu, of which 123,800 mu (approximately 8,253 hectares) is in Zigui, accounting for 74% of the total planting area in Yichang. Other growing areas include Xingshan County, Changyang County and Yiling District. The output of Lunwan navel oranges in Yichang is expected to exceed 300,000 metric tons this year.
