　　At 16:56 on April 10, Chang’an Airlines Flight 9H8477 took off from Yichang Sanxia International Airport bound for Kuching, Malaysia, marking the official launch of the international passenger route between Yichang and Kuching.

　　This is the first direct flight from Yichang Sanxia International Airport to Kuching. Passengers are mainly inbound tour groups from Malaysia. The route is operated by Chang’an Airlines with a Boeing 737-800 aircraft, scheduled for one weekly flight on Fridays. The outbound flight departs Yichang at 16:50 and arrives in Kuching at 22:00; the return flight departs Kuching at 23:00 and arrives in Yichang at 04:05 the next day.
