Recently, construction of the new energy battery raw material production base by Kunlun New Energy Materials Technology (Yichang) Co Ltd has been advancing rapidly in the Yichang Eastern Industrial New Zone, with all underground foundation work fully completed and the project entering the above-ground construction phase. Trial production is expected to start in July.The company is one of China’s earliest high-tech enterprises dedicated to the R&D and production of lithium-ion battery electrolytes, serving applications in power batteries, consumer electronics, and specialized batteries. With a total investment of 5.2 billion yuan, the first phase of the project will have an annual production capacity of 100,000 metric tons of lithium-ion battery electrolyte.
