From April 30 to May 4, a series of May Day festivities under the theme “Vibrant Riverside & Happy Yichang” will be held along the Yichang riverfront. The event will kick off on the evening of April 30 with the “Yangtze River Night” concert and other theme performances. On May 1, an urban orienteering event will lead participants through five riverside zones, followed by a Coffee Carnival from May 1 to 3. Other all-day highlights include extreme sports demonstrations at Finless Porpoise Square, a tea and cocktail garden at Tianran Tower, the immersive theater production “Drama at Ancient South Gate (Dananmen),” a light show at Zhenjiang Pavilion, and a new photo installation called “First Glimpse of the Riverside City” in Gezhouba Park.
