On the afternoon of May 4, Yichang officially kicked off its launch event as a 2026 National “Movie+” Comprehensive Consumption Pilot City, alongside the 4th Fatty Fish GourmetCarnival. During the event, six premium travel routes under the theme “Tour Yichang with Movies” were unveiled, together with a “Film + Cuisine + Commercial Districts + Culture and Tourism” check-in map connecting cinemas, shopping districts, culinary landmarks and scenic spots. A list of 30 “Yichang Fatty Fish Culinary Landmark Restaurants” was also released, featuring four debut dining brands making their collective appearance. In addition, the “Film Ticket Stub Economy Alliance” platform was inaugurated and has already attracted over 300 merchants.
