The 2026 Yangtze Three Gorges (Yichang) University Dragon Boat Open and the 2026 Yichang Dragon Boat League (the “Dragon Super League” or “Long Chao”) will be held from May 30 to June 20 in the Qianwan area of the Three Gorges Cruise Center in Yiling District.

　　The competition offers open category events including 200m and 500m straight races for 22-person dragon boats, as well as a “Red Cloth Grabbing” race. More than 50 teams with about 800 participants are expected to join.

　　A fun experience category has been added. During the regular matches on May 30, 31, June 13, and 14, citizens can form temporary teams on site and register for the 12-person dragon boat 200m straight race. The 2026 Yichang Dragon Boat League Finals and the Three Gorges (Yichang) University Dragon Boat Open will then take place from June 19 to 20, featuring the 500m “Red Cloth Grabbing” race for the university category.
