On May 17, Meituan’s self-operated instant retail brand “Ella Supermarket (Xiaoxiang Supermarket)” officially entered Yichang. Consumers can place orders via the mobile app and enjoy delivery of fresh food and groceries in in as little as 30 minutes. This marks Meituan’s first foray into the Yichang market and represents a key initiative by Xiling District to foster new types of consumption and build a convenient living circle.
