By the end of May 2026, Yichang’s Sci-Tech Talent Loan had disbursed over 1.5 billion yuan in total, benefiting more than 5,500 tech professionals, ranging from PhD holders to workers with secondary vocational skills. Launched in April 2025 as the first of its kind in Hubei Province, this pure credit loan requires no collateral, waives guarantee and appraisal fees, and offers favorable interest rates. At present, it helps talent and relevant enterprises reduce annual interest expenses by 20 million yuan, and total savings including fee exemptions have exceeded 26.3 million yuan. Together with supporting products like the Knowledge Value Credit Loan, it forms a full life-cycle financial service system, boosting technological upgrades at Hubei Fenglianjiawo Agricultural Development Co Ltd and Zhixi Robot Manufacturing (Hubei) Co Ltd, and generating jobs for over 10,000 people.
