On June 18, the Low-Altitude Economy Industry College of Hubei Three Gorges Aviation Institute was officially inaugurated. As the sole aviation-focused undergraduate institution in Hubei Province, the institute established the new college on the first anniversary of its founding, with the aim of serving the national low-altitude economy strategy and deepening industry-education integration.

　　The college operates under a three-tier governance framework comprising “board decision-making, academic committee governance and executive team implementation.” A total of 18 institutions and organizations, including the Hubei Low-altitude Economy Industry Promotion Association and China Tower Corporation Limited, participate in the decision-making process. The academic team brings together experts from institutions such as Nanjing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics and Commercial Aircraft Corporation of China, Ltd. (COMAC).

　　The college plans to cultivate over 300 application-orientedprofessionals in the low-altitude economy sector by 2028, undertake no fewer than five provincial- and ministerial-level research projects, and provide annual technical training for more than 300 enterprise technicians.
