The official website of Airport Council International has released the award winners of 2018 annual global Airport Service Quality(ASQ). Sanxia Airport of Yichang won four awards including “Best Airport in Asia-Pacific Region”, “Best Airport for Environment and Atmosphere Creation”, “Best Airport for Service” and “Best Airport for Infrastructure and its convenience” among the group 2 million to 5 million passengers. The is the highest honor that Chinese airports have won in this group since Airport Council International launched ASQ evaluation.

　　In 2018, Sanxi Airport gave out 1417 ASQ questionnaires, and got 4.96 points in the 5-point satisfaction option, ranking the first among airports with 2 million to 5 million passengers worldwide. This is the second time that Sanxia Airport has won International honor after it won SKYTRAX four-star award in 2014.

　　The awards mark the high recognition of service quality of Sanxia Airport by international authorities and vast number of tourists, and play an important role in promoting industry influence of the airport.
