Yemingzhu Interchange was newly completed on December 17. The Yemingzhu Interchange in urban area is one of the important nodes of the Three Gorges Expressway, which has become a traffic bottleneck in the rush hour. In October 2018, the city launched the Yemingzhu Interchange ReconstructionProject to upgrade the roads, and builtnew ramps from the Yiling District to the Yichang High-tech Zone direction and from Three Gorges Dam District to the Yiling District, increasing the number of Yemingzhu Interchange ramps from six in the past to eight, greatly releasingthe traffic pressure.
