As of 8:00a.mon August 30, the water level on the Three Gorges dam has reached 155.4m. According to the water level variation law of the Three Gorges Dam and the regulations on the operation and management of the Three Gorges ship lock during the water level variation period. The Three Gorges ship lock has changed from 4 lift operation to level 5 replenishment operation since 12:00, August 30. The five lock chambers of the South and North have been put into operation, and the slockage time will be extended by about 40 minutes compared with 4 lift operation.
